Please join us for a special luncheon, held in partnership with the Center for Houston’s Future, presenting the findings of a recent ULI National Advisory Services Panel Report on the Houston region. The Advisory Services Panel was sponsored by the Center for Houston’s Future, and is a part of their ongoing initiative, “Our Emerging Houston Region.” Mr. Fernando Costa and Mr. Scott Polikov, two members of the Advisory Services Panel, were among those who toured our region and met with various developers, public officials, and other stakeholders as part of the four-day Panel process. They will outline the findings of the Panel, reflecting what our region is doing well, what challenges we face, and what potential approaches could be taken to address those challenges. All attendees of the luncheon will receive a copy of the Panel report.
For the local perspective, a dynamic panel of regional leaders will respond to the report’s recommendations -- moderated by Bob Eury of Central Houston, Inc., and including Harris County Judge Ed Emmett; Kelly Frels of Bracewell & Giuliani and the Center for Houston’s Future Advisory Council; Ted Nelson of Newland Communities-Texas and the ULI Houston Executive Committee; and Alan Clark of H-GAC.
Please note that in order to allow enough time for our full agenda, we will begin this luncheon earlier than usual: we will be seated at 11:30 am, and will begin the presentation promptly at that time.
