Developing on the Fringe – Urban Neighborhoods in Transition
Martin Fein, President of Martin Fein Interests, Ltd. will speak about urban site selection in transitioning neighborhoods. Fein has built close to Houston’s Midtown, the Med Center, and the Heights with great success. He will speak about the challenges of developing on the urban fringe.

Martin Fein serves as President of Martin Fein Interests, Ltd. He has extensive experience in the development and management of residential and commercial real estate. Over the past 36 years, he has been involved in the development and acquisition of thousands of multifamily apartments as well as commercial office and retail space. Fein also founded Westchase Construction, Ltd., to construct luxury apartment developments.

Fein received a BA from Indiana University and a JD from the University of Louisville Law School. He established Martin Fein Interests, Ltd. in May 1989. Previously, Fein was President of the Farb Companies directing over 500 employees in residential and commercial divisions.
