Event Overview :

Please join us on Wednesday, February 27th to hear a presentation about and tour the new Mosaic on Hermann Park with its developer, Mr. Donald Phillips, Managing Director of Phillips Development & Realty, LLC. This 788-unit, mixed-use high-rise consists of two towers, each 23 stories and 394 units, atop a 6-story parking structure and 22,500 square feet of street level retail. Mr. Phillips, who is based in Tampa, has developed apartment buildings throughout the country, and Mosaic is his first high-rise project. He will walk us through the entire project and address the many challenges in making this project a reality, from site selection, to financing, to marketing. Mr. Phillips will also speak candidly about getting Houston to "believe" in this project; as there had been numerous false starts for similar projects, Phillips Development knew they had to overcome major misconceptions in the market to make Mosaic a success. The first phase is now complete and is over 70 percent sold, and the second phase has broken ground.
