Overview:
Please
join us for a special Saturday Young Leaders Event as
we tour several new developments that are changing the
face of Galveston. You've heard the buzz- now see the
new Galveston for yourself. We will first meet for lunch
at FishTales Restaurnat, in their second-floor dining
area overlooking the Gulf. We will be joined there by
representatives from the Palisade Palms, a two-tower,
high-rise condominium development with 278 residential
units; and Piaza Blanca, a 12-story residential tower
incorporating retail and restaurants. Also joing us
will be Andrew Kaldis, who will be discussing his restoration
of the Panama Hotel, and Sue Darcy from Knudson &
Associates, who will describe the firm's work in creating
several TIRZs on the Island. After lunch, we will all
head to our cars to caravan to and tour the various
developments.
