Please join your fellow ULI Young Leaders for a members-only lunch and tour of the city’s first LEED-certified building, the LEED-Gold rated Zachry Employment and Conference Center. Space limits attendance to 35 members, and reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be no on-site registration; you must pre-register to attend.

ULI Young Leaders Members will find out more about the real-life process of “going for the Gold” in LEED, and take away lessons learned from both the developer and contractor. Mr. Rene Garcia, Director of the Building Division, Zachry Construction Corporation, will guide our tour of an award-winning corporate headquarters building that proves comfort and productivity go hand-in-hand with energy-saving and environmental design. Green features include rainwater collection and water reclamation, extensive use of renewable and recycled materials, and a building process that salvaged almost 200 tons of demolition debris, instead of sending it to landfills.
