Developer Frank Liu, Director of Lovett Homes, and a Board member of the Greater East End Management District, will guide us through neighborhoods that are a window on Houston's past and a gateway to its future. Learn about the recent allocation of $5 million in stimulus funds for public realm improvements and the Livable Centers initiative. See wetlands restoration and the transformation of Buffalo Bend Nature Park. Discover the extensive trail and park system along Buffalo Bayou, as envisioned and realized by Buffalo Bayou Partnership. Additional elements of East End redevelopment include a revitalization of the Guadalupe Plaza, vibrant commercial and residential improvements.
