News & Events Tuesday, March 31 Special Event Meet the Experts: Cocktails and conversations with Houston trailblazers
The Urban Land Institute offers members an exclusive opportunity to join a conversation with Houston trailblazers—local business legends who have reached the top of their professions. Before he conducted business as the Chairman of the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, David S. Wolff achieved success developing thousands of acres of master-planned business environments. On March 31, from 5:30 - 7 pm at the Chase Tower Sky Lobby, Mr. Wolff will offer a personal look back on more than 40 years developing in Houston--through boom and lean times. The man who made "The Energy Corridor," the world's energy headquarters, will share insight that can help ULI Members blaze their own trails to success. Wolff Companies developments, including Park10, Interwood, First Crossing, Westway Park and Ten Oaks have been praised by Lady Bird Johnson, Keep America Beautiful and The Urban Land Institute. Wolff's newest development, Gates Ranch, is profiled on the front page of the March 20 edition of the Houston Business Journal. Marvin Katz, Houston ULI Executive Committee Member, former Houston Planning Commission chairman, authority on land use issues and expert corporate advisor will moderate the conversation with Mr. Wolff.
