Please join us for a luncheon with Mr. John Hofmeister, Founder and CEO of Citizens for Affordable Energy, and former President of Shell Oil Company. Mr. Hofmeister will share his insights on the future of the energy industry, as well as what the implications of that future are for our region and its economic, as well as physical, growth. What does the future hold for energy prices, and what effect will those prices have on the shape of our region?
As rising energy prices help power the growth of our regional economy, will those prices also impact where people choose to live and work, what types of homes they live in, and how they commute to their jobs? Mr. Hofmeister will discuss these issues, as well as what he deems the “Four Mores” that are needed in our energy policy: more energy supply from all sources, more energy efficiency through technology and innovation, more environmental stewardship, and more infrastructure to deliver energy where it is needed.
