Overview:
The quality of a neighborhood's public schools
is one of the most important factors considered by residents
and businesses when they seek to relocate. As a result,
the real estate development community must have a close
working relationship with and understanding of our public
school systems. Similarly, HISD Superintendent Dr. Abelardo
Saavedra recognizes the importance of forging alliances
between our public school systems and the business community,
as indicated by his past chairmanship of the Texas Business
and Education Coalition. Please join us as we discuss
what steps HISD is taking to ensure a strong economic
future for our City, and how the real estate development
