Town centers, transit villages, and main streets are hot in today's development world. Interesting, pedestrian-friendly, and dynamic mixed-use places are increasingly preferred locations for shopping, working, living, and playing. These mixed-use developments do not follow strict formulas, and they are generally complex and difficult to undertake. This year's conference will focus on best practices and innovative approaches that are being employed by both the private and public sectors in creating new town centers, transit villages, and main streets.
