Tips for Completing
the Awards Application Form in Microsoft Word
-
The application form does not allow information to be saved,
closed and reopened for later sessions. If it is not possible
to complete and submit the application in a single session,
first create and save the nomination in a separate Word
document. Then, copy and paste answers into the appropriate
boxes in the online form when you are ready to do so.
-
To fill in check boxes, place your cursor on the box and
click your left mouse button once to check the box; click
a second time to clear the box.
-
This application form includes text fields for entry of
requested information. Note that these text fields are limited
in size and will not display any more information than fits
within the text borders. Information that overflows the
text fields will not print and cannot be recovered by the
jury.
-
Navigate between text fields with the Tab key (forward)
and Shift-Tab (previous).
-
The default font for responses in the text fields is ten-point
Times New Roman.
